Programs

We build talent — not just place it.

Univoc’s programs put learning and real work together. We design work-integrated education with universities and run earn-while-you-learn apprenticeships, so people get skilled for real jobs — and employers get talent that’s ready.

Programs at a glance

Two programs, one model: get people work-ready.

Everything we run ladders up to employability — getting people genuinely skilled, and into real work.

Work-Integrated Education

Degrees designed with universities so students study and work at the same time — real skills built into the curriculum.

Apprenticeships

Structured on-the-job roles where students earn a stipend while they study — earn-while-you-learn, in real workplaces.

Skilling & employability

The thread through both: training aligned with what employers need, on a clear path from classroom to career.

Work-Integrated Education

Learning and working, designed as one.

Work-integrated education (WIE) weaves real work into a degree instead of leaving it to the end. We design and implement these programs in tie-up with universities, building them into the curriculum so students graduate genuinely job-ready.

  • Built with universities. We design the WIE program alongside the institution and fit it to their courses, calendar and credit structure.
  • Integrated into the curriculum. The work component sits inside the degree, not bolted on after it — study and work reinforce each other.
  • NEP-aligned framing. Programs are designed aligned with the NEP 2020 apprenticeship-embedded degree framework.
  • For universities and students. Institutions lift employability outcomes; students get real skills and a clearer path to a career.

Univoc designs WIE programs aligned with the NEP 2020 framework and runs them in partnership with universities. We are an independent partner, not a UGC/AICTE or government body and not an accreditor — academic and credit decisions remain the institution’s.

Apprenticeships

Earn while you learn, in real workplaces.

Apprenticeships are how students do real work inside a work-integrated program — a structured on-the-job role where they get skilled while they study, and can earn a stipend along the way.

  • Earn while you learn. Students work as apprentices and can earn a stipend while they study — income and experience at once.
  • Scheme-aligned pathways. Designed aligned with national programs such as NAPS, NATS, PMKVY and Skill India.
  • A path to placement. Our employer network turns apprenticeships into real roles — a path toward placement, not a guarantee.
  • Skills employers actually need. The work is matched to real demand, so the experience counts on a résumé.

Univoc facilitates apprenticeships aligned with NAPS, NATS, PMKVY and Skill India. We are an independent partner, not an empanelled or accredited body, and we never guarantee a job, placement or specific income.

What this looks like for students
How the programs work

Study → skill → earn → placed.

1

Study

Enrol in a work-integrated program designed with us and a partner university — the curriculum and the work are planned together.

2

Get skilled

Build hands-on skills aligned with national skilling frameworks and mapped to what employers actually need.

3

Earn as an apprentice

Work as an apprentice and earn a stipend while you study — earning from early on, not only after graduation.

4

Move toward placement

Use the skills, the record and the relationships built along the way to step toward a real role.

Why Univoc runs these

Education is the model, not a side project.

The reason our programs work is the same reason Univoc exists — we’re built to skill people, not just supply them.

Education-integrated by design

We build work into learning rather than bolting placements onto the end. Skilling people is the core of what we do.

Government-aligned skilling

Our programs are designed aligned with national skilling schemes (NAPS, NATS, PMKVY, Skill India) and the NEP 2020 framework. We are an independent partner, not an empanelled or accredited body — the alignment keeps the learning relevant.

Foundation-backed mission

Univoc is the operating arm of Univoc Foundation, a Section 8 not-for-profit. We’re measured by the careers we help build, which is the whole point of these programs.

FAQ

Programs FAQ

Work-integrated education (WIE) is the broader model — a degree designed so studying and working happen together, built into the curriculum with a university. An apprenticeship is one of the ways students do that real work: a structured on-the-job role, often with a stipend, while they study. In our programs the two fit together — WIE is the design, the apprenticeship is the work inside it.

Our programs are designed aligned with national skilling programs such as NAPS, NATS, PMKVY and Skill India, and with the NEP 2020 apprenticeship-embedded degree framework. Univoc is an independent partner — not an empanelled, accredited or official body under any of these — but the alignment keeps the training relevant and helps participants access the pathways that matter.

That depends on the university and how the program is structured with them. We design WIE programs to map onto a university’s credit and curriculum framework, but the academic and credit decisions are always the institution’s to make.

Apprenticeship-based pathways are earn-while-you-learn, so students can earn a stipend as they train. The amount varies by role, employer and sector, so we’re clear about what a specific opportunity offers rather than promising a figure.

We consult and design the program with you, map it onto your curriculum and calendar, then run the employer sourcing, placements and outcome tracking. The academic side stays yours; we handle the work-integration around it. See For Universities for how a partnership works.

Eligibility and any costs depend on the specific program and the partner university or employer involved, so there isn’t a single answer. We’ll always be upfront about who a program is for and what it involves before anyone commits.
